The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
The word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus was with the Father, then He became flesh, became a man, and literally pitched his tent among us. He came on a mission to save us. He was/is a missionary and also gives us the mission of making disciples.
As a Christian, the question is not "am i a missionary?" but "am I doing my job as a missionary properly?". We are all missionaries. Our pattern should be the same as Jesus: our lives as missionaries start with being with God, then it overflows out of our life to the people we are in contact with. My mission field is my workplace, family, friends, whoever I come into contact with today, wherever I've got my tent pitched.
