[You] who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

You are being guarded by God's power!
This is not accidental, to be guarded is intentional security and protection. It's not that you happen to be in a safe area near God and better make sure you stay there. God is actively guarding you.
What can come against you? There is no greater power than the one guarding you!
