Genesis Forty

The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.Genesis 40:23

Joseph knows God has not abandoned him in prison and when two dreams need interpreting, he is clear that all interpretations belong to God. Things are looking up as the cup-bearer promises to help Joseph out but then he promptly forgets.

Everyone else might have forgotten Joseph. But God has not.

Everyone else might have forgotten you, but God has not. No one else might be thinking about you right now, nobody else might be interested in what is going on with you, but God is.
