These people were blessed by God because they had children and lived a long time.
The last 37 years are a blessing from God, he has given me life. Every breath is a blessing from him. My children are a blessing from God. I don't know my great grandfather and my great grandchildren may not know me, but the few generations I see are a small part of God's intimate involvement in a long family line.
The routine things in my everyday life should be viewed as what they are, blessings as part of a cosmic plan God has been unfolding throughout history.
